Resources & Tools
Hello and welcome to BickmeierTraining.com! My name is Hope Bickmeier, founder and CEO of Bickmeier Training & Development. As a Communication Coach, my utmost goal is to help clients hone their natural communication abilities. Whether it’s communicating better with loved ones or customers, creating an inspiring team atmosphere, or overcoming public speaking jitters, together we’ll set goals and achieve communication success!
My love for understanding communication stemmed from living in various regions across the United States (there was definitely a communication learning curve when our family arrived in Texas). I spent my formative years in Connecticut, my undergraduate time in Michigan, then moved to Alaska where I met my husband, Brian. We spent several years in rural Iowa before heading back to Alaska, then finally landing in Kyle, Texas. Brian and I always said we would live “anywhere but Texas” (northerners are weary of snakes, bugs, and heat, you know), but to our surprise we LOVE central Texas! We have two young children and are excited to raise our family in such a thriving community (albeit HOT)! We’re proud to call Texas home and “our place”; thank you for having us!
I completed a M.A. in Professional Communication at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2008, focusing my research on self-identity and interpersonal communication. My career background is higher education, including an adjunct faculty position at Buena Vista University in Iowa. Our family moved so frequently that I stayed home full-time when my children were young. During those years, I grew a successful direct sales business, but I always knew my passion would lead me back to the world of communication. This year the timing was right, and I couldn’t be happier to bring the services of Bickmeier Training & Development to this wonderful local community!
Please let me know how I can help you, your team, or your business!
